Bo Li李博

Hi! I'm Bo, an MSCS student at UIUC.

Previously, I was a research intern at Princeton University, advised by Prof. Zhuang Liu and Dr. Xingyu Fu, and worked closely with Yida Yin and Wenhao Chai. Before that, I was a research assistant at UNC-Chapel Hill with Huaxiu Yao, and at Fudan University with Jingjing Chen. I completed my undergraduate degree at Fudan University.

I'm currently interested in building capable, self-improving AI agents and understanding how data shapes the capabilities of foundation models. My research interests span dataset curation, multimodal understanding and generation, scalable self-improvement, and designing benchmarks that reveal emergent agent abilities. Recently, I've become especially interested in how AI can accelerate research itself—from exploring ideas and forming hypotheses to designing experiments and discovering new insights.
